Mostar
A city with a story.
Mostar grew around a crossing of the Neretva River, taking its name from the mostari — the bridge keepers. Its historic streets reflect centuries of Ottoman, Mediterranean and Central European influences.
Stari Most is at the heart of that story. Destroyed during the war in the 1990s and rebuilt in 2004, the bridge now stands as a symbol of reconnection and shared heritage.
